1. Agreement to Terms

By registering an account and using the FairShareUp web app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Use of Service

FairShareUp is designed to log group expenses, roommates rents, travel costs, and compute balance splits. You must not:

• Use the platform for any illegal financial activities or money laundering.
• Attempt to scrape data or bypass access filters via automated scripts.
• Publish offensive content or false debt logs to harass other members.

3. Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security leaks.

4. Advertising & Contextual Content

The service contains advertisements served via Google AdSense. We make no representations or warranties regarding the content, availability, or accuracy of the commercial products advertised.

5. User Contributed Content

You retain all rights to transaction logs, names, and images you upload. However, by uploading content, you grant us a temporary license to cache and route it to your invited group members.

6. Limitation of Liability

FairShareUp is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. We are not a financial institution and do not facilitate actual monetary transfers. We shall not be liable for any financial disputes arising between users of the platform. Use of settlement tracking features does not constitute a legally binding financial agreement.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
